People are Talking " It is agreed that secondhand smoke causes many illnesses. It isn't a matter of if a smoking ban is in place, it is when it will be in place. Let's make McLeod County be one of the counties that shows its concern about the health of its citzens." ~ Dr. Brian Bonte "We are very excited to hear that Country Kitchen is going Smoke Free in January, 2006. We take a "family vote" when trying to decide where to go out to eat. Our son almost always chooses Country Kitchen, and now we can consider going there more often. With two young children we think carefully about where we go. Most places have a longer wait time for the nonsmoking section, and in many establishments every area seems like the smoking section. We offer a huge "Thank You" to County Kitchen and every other establishment that has chosen to go Smoke Free." ~ Torrey and Heather Prigge, McLeod County “We want everyone to smell our great food & enjoy a great SMOKE FREE dining environment,” ~ General Manager, Sonja Fruetel, Taco Bell, Hutchinson. “We think it’s important that both our customers and employees enjoy a SMOKE FREE environment” ~ Darlene Johnson, manager, Papa Murphy’s, Hutchinson. “We want everyone to enjoy SMOKE FREE,clean environment when bringing their family in to dine,” ~ Christine Werbowski, manager, Arby’s,Hutchinson. “We want all our customers to be able to bring their families into a clean, healthy, fun, family restaurant environment,” manager, Andrea Johnson. “Being Smoke Free is the Right thing to do!
